HOPPR Introduces Presto: AI-Powered Draft Reporting for Radiology

Published Date: June 24, 2026

HOPPR has unveiled its Presto Agent, a groundbreaking solution aimed at simplifying AI integration within existing radiology reporting systems. This innovation seeks to address barriers to AI adoption by allowing radiologists to incorporate AI draft reporting capabilities without the need for new platforms or significant workflow modifications.

Presto is engineered to work seamlessly with current systems, allowing radiologists to leverage a variety of AI models—whether commercial, open-source, or developed in-house. This flexibility enables practices to stay adaptable as AI technology evolves. Initially, Presto is compatible with PowerScribe 360 and PowerScribe One, with plans for additional integrations underway.

HOPPR, a company committed to developing transparent and scalable AI for medical imaging, emphasizes that Presto enhances workflow efficiency by integrating into existing systems without requiring additional software or platform changes. The system imports findings from selected AI models into radiologists' existing templates, facilitating easier report creation.

Key features include the organization of dictated text within report structures and the automatic extraction of measurements from various imaging sources directly into reports. The adaptability of Presto allows it to function with any vision-language model, broadening its applicability across different practices.

Feedback from early users underscores the ease and flexibility of Presto's integration. William Boonn, MD, Chief Medical Officer at HOPPR, explained that Presto was developed to bridge a gap in radiology reporting, targeting the frustrations often associated with report generation rather than image interpretation.

Radiologists involved in initial deployments have reported smooth integration with minimal disruption. Shawn Lyo, MD, from Radiology Associates of South Florida, noted Presto's ease of setup and flexibility, while Daniel Riherd, MD, from Evansville Radiology, praised its seamless operation within PowerScribe. Joshua Adam Tarrence, DO, from Radiology Physicians, Inc., highlighted Presto’s ability to significantly reduce manual tasks, allowing more time for study analysis.
