Accuray Unveils Stellar™ Solution, Expanding Adaptive Radiotherapy Capabilities at ASTRO 2025
Accuray Incorporated has introduced the Accuray Stellar™ Solution, an all-in-one radiotherapy platform designed to make adaptive treatments more practical and accessible for cancer care teams. The solution, built on the Radixact® Treatment Delivery System, will debut at the ASTRO 2025 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, with a U.S. unveiling event scheduled for Sunday, September 28.
A New Approach to Adaptive Radiotherapy
Adaptive radiotherapy allows clinicians to adjust treatment in response to changes in tumor size, shape, or patient movement during therapy. With Stellar, Accuray aims to simplify this process, helping care teams deliver more precise and personalized treatments across a wide range of cancers, including breast, prostate, lung, and head and neck, as well as complex cases such as total marrow irradiation.
“Our goal with Accuray Stellar is to provide tools that make adaptive radiotherapy simple, fast, and practical for medical teams—no matter where patients are in their cancer journey,” said Suzanne Winter, president and CEO of Accuray. “The solution reflects our commitment to purposeful innovation and personalized cancer care.”
Comprehensive and Flexible Tools
Accuray Stellar integrates seamlessly with the company’s proprietary hardware, software, and partner technologies to expand treatment options and streamline workflows. Clinicians can deliver a full spectrum of therapies, from IMRT and SBRT to surface-guided treatments, while leveraging adaptive tools that evolve with each patient’s needs.
The platform supports:
- Synchrony® technology for real-time motion tracking and correction.
- PreciseART® for offline adaptive protocols.
- An online-adaptive ready interface to support future OART workflows.
New Innovations in Imaging and Training
Accuray Stellar also debuts Adapt LTE*, powered by Accuray Cenos. This retrospective evaluation tool compares past treatment plans against original therapy goals, helping clinicians analyze outcomes, refine decision-making, and train more effectively in adaptive techniques.
High-resolution imaging underpins the Stellar solution. With ClearRT® helical kVCT, clinicians can capture detailed images quickly, improving visibility of tumors and surrounding anatomy. This clarity enhances treatment planning and supports more informed clinical decisions.
By combining versatility, advanced imaging, and adaptive radiotherapy tools, Accuray Stellar is designed to help oncology teams deliver higher precision treatments and improve patient outcomes.
